Racine Man Delivers Christmas Gifts To Needy Families

One Racine the man is making sure every family has a special gift under the tree this year. 
"I do it because it's a need," said Deontre Mayfield.

Mayfield spent Friday morning delivering Christmas gifts to more than a dozen families. Most of whom can’t afford to celebrate. 

"You can't tell a five-year-old child we can't have Christmas, Mayfield explained.

“If someone from the outside can play Santa Claus for a second, having that spark in their eyes, is worth it."

Mayfield who owns Panhandlers Resale Shop has been doing this for three years.

House after house Mayfield delivered the toys, only staying for a few seconds. 

Over the course of the year, Mayfield finds families who maybe in need. 

This year he had so many extra toys he put a plea on Facebook asking if anyone knew any families in need.

After all of the toys were distributed Mayfield found random families in need on the streets, to deliver the rest of the toys.
