RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Racine man is charged for allegedly having drugs in his car while an infant was in the back seat.
Authorities say Kevin Hatley was driving without a valid license.
According to the complaint, the officer who pulled him over smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle. He also saw a bag of pills on the vehicle's floorboard.
During a search of the vehicle, police say they found cocaine and a loaded gun inside a diaper bag next to the child.
Hatley has been charged with possession of a firearm by an outstate felon, possession of a controlled substance, possession of cocaine, possession of THC, carrying a concealed weapon, misdemeanor bail jumping, and operating without a license.
