Racine house fire leaves 1 dead

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Officials say one person has died following a house fire in Racine Wednesday morning, June 7.
The Racine Fire Department responded to a home near 19th Street and Hayes Avenue around 11:51 a.m. for a bedroom fire in a single-family home.
Authorities say first responders encountered a large volume of fire and smoke coming from two bedroom windows.
They say a male victim was found deceased in that bedroom.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
