Racine Girl Saves Money To Buy K9 Titan A New Ballistic Vest

RACINE - The Racine Police Department is saying thank you to a local girl. Madelyn Kleist saved up enough money to donate so that K9 Titan could have a new ballistic vest.

Four years ago, Madelyn started saving her Birthday, Christmas, and babysitting money along with whatever else she could save to donate to Wisconsin Vest-A-Dog. That organization purchases vests for K9 units in Wisconsin.

The money she raised went to outfit K9 Titan with a new vest. When Madelyn found out who her donation went to, she and her family made a trip to the Racine Police Department to visit with the recipient of her donation.
