Racine County plans to invest in new 11-mile section of Badger Trail

RACINE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- If you love hiking or bicycling and you're always looking for new trails, keep an eye on Racine County.

There's a plan to invest half a million dollars in a new 11-mile section of the Badger Trail network.

The county wants to buy part of the Canadian Pacific Railway line to use for the trail.

The Racine County Board still needs to approve the project, but what may help here is that the money comes from a grant, not from taxpayers.
