Lake enhancement really boosted snow totals in lakeshore counties last night into early this morning! A few spots in southeast Wisconsin picked up between 6-8" of snow with Kohler being the big winner!
Milwaukee officially has picked up 4.7" as of 6am. Most of southeast Wisconsin saw between 3-5" of fresh powder with lowest totals well inland.
After a rather active week of weather, we're going to quiet down and warm up this weekend! Plenty of sun is expected on Saturday with highs in the low to mid 30s, but we'll have to deal with a breezy southwest wind gusting 20-30 mph at times. Wind will taper off on Sunday, but we'll continue to melt some of this snow with temps near normal and mostly sunny skies.
Temps will continue to rise above freezing through at least the first half of next week as well! Wednesday looks to be the warmest day with highs well into the 40s.
The weather will be fairly quiet into next week as well with no major systems on the horizon. There's a small chance for a light rain/snow mix later Tuesday, but nothing impactful. Enjoy the fresh snow!
