Puppy Dragged by a Car is Recovering at the Wisconsin Humane Society

A puppy dragged by a car and then thrown in a dumpster is getting a second chance at life.

The eight month old dog is recovering from his injuries at the Wisconsin Humane Society.

They have appropriately named the rescued pup "Chance" and are using him as a mascot to encourage people donate to the human society's cause.

“Chance is an amazing dog and just one of the hundreds of animals receiving medical treatment thru the Wisconsin Humane Society right now. I would say we have about a dozen dogs and cats with injuries from getting him by a car or falling out a window,” said Angela Speed, with Wisconsin Humane Society.

A good Samaritan who rescued Chance is also going to adopt him once he's strong enough.
