MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Family and friends of Joel Acevedo say they want more people charged in his death.
Former MPD officer Michael Mattioli is charged with choking Acevedo to death last spring at a party at Mattioli's home.
On Tuesday, Dec. 22, dozens of Acevedo supporters held a rally outside Mattioli's home.
They want two other men who were at the party arrested and charged.
Supporters say a 911 call released last week proves their guilt.
"You heard one of the individuals in the background stated, 'we got him Michael,' and they are trying to use these individuals as witnesses, which clearly they are accomplices, they are co-conspirators," said Elizabeth Brown, advocate with Justice Wisconsin.
Mattioli has already resigned from the Milwaukee Police Department, but pleaded not guilty to reckless homicide.
His next court appearance is set for March.
