Proof of vaccination or negative Covid test required at Oriental Theatre starting Aug. 25

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee's Oriental Theatre will now require visitors to show proof of vaccination or a negative Covid test from within 72 hours of showtime.

The theater reopened on Friday, Aug. 20 after being closed for 524 days.

A spokesperson for Milwaukee Film says the new policy takes effect Wednesday, Aug. 25.

They've also reduced capacity for all shows to promote social distancing.

All Milwaukee Film staff are fully vaccinated and required to wear masks.

Guests are also asked to wear masks unless actively eating or drinking.
