BROWARD COUNTY, Fl. (CBS 58) -- Dozens of officers accompanied the procession for Broward County deputy Benjamin Nimtz in Florida Thursday.
The 30-year-old was killed Sunday morning when his cruiser was hit by a truck while the deputy was responding to a domestic dispute.
Nimtz is originally from Waukesha, and leaves behind a wife and two children.
He already resigned from the force and only had three shifts left to work before moving to Indiana with his family.
