President Donald Trump Promises New Immigration Order in Days at CPAC

CBS 58's first hand coverage of CPAC continued Friday when President Trump spoke.

He told the at capacity conservative crowd that he will follow through with his campaign promises.

He held strong on deporting undocumented immigrants who are criminals and building a border wall between the U.S. and Mexico.

He also said his administration is preparing a massive military budget request.

He promises that it would be the greatest military build up in history.

The President said it would create peace through strength.

The White House was expected to introduce a new executive order on immigration this week.

The previous travel ban executive order was stopped in court a few weeks ago.

On Friday, President Trump said we will see a new order in a matter of day.

"I will never ever apologize for protecting the safety and security of the American people," President Trumps said. "Won't do it. If it means I get bad press, if it means people speak badly of me, it's okay. It doesn't bother me.  The security of our people is number one. Number one."
