Preparing for the snow

MILWAUKEE-Up to a foot of snow could fall on parts of southeast Wisconsin at a time when may have big holiday travel and shopping plans.
Milwaukee's Department of Public Works says its drivers are ready to forgo any holiday plans to keep the roads treated.
Malls like Mayfair also have crews on stand by to keep parking lots clear.

*** Winter Storm Warning ***
All of Southeastern Wisconsin from 6pm Saturday evening through 6pm Sunday for 6 inches of snow or more.
Tonight: Light rain, freezing drizzle, sleet and light snow taper off in the evening with cloudy skies through the morning. Lows drop into the teens inland to mid 20's along Lake Michigan. Winds are out of the north/ northeast at 10 to 20 mph.
Saturday: Cloudy, cool weather is forecast with highs in the upper 20's to low 30's. Winds are from the east northeast at 10 to 20 mph. By the evening, rain and snow move in from the south. Rain is confined to along Lake Michigan from Milwaukee south to the Illinois border. Inland can expect all snow or a quick transition from rain to snow.
Early Next Week: We go all snow during the night, with snow heavy at times. By Sunday morning, snow tapers off to snow showers that last through the evening. Snowfall amounts range from 1-3\" along Lake Michigan to 3-6\" for most of Milwaukee, Racine and Kenosha counties. North and west of here, expect 6-9\" with a few locations possibly seeing close to a foot of snow. High temps reach near 30 Sunday. This storm track still uncertain, so check back for updates. Monday is windy and cold with flurries and highs in the teens. Partly cloudy skies are forecast Tuesday with highs in the teens.
