Preparing for the first round of snow

With temps getting down in the 20's, the prediction is snow will stick so this is the time to get those shovels and salt.

While most of us are not looking forward to old man winters official arrival, this is big business for hardware store owners.

They say they've been stocking up and waiting for this event.

\"It's not great to say we do well with catastrophes weather it's big snow or pipes freezing that's kind of what we're here for,\" Ben Simon, of Downer Hardware, said.

The snow is not a total loss. Many ski hills and ice skating there are fun ways to enjoy the weather.
