Potbelly Opening Location Inside Mayfair Mall

Potbelly Sandwich Shop announced that a new location in Wauwatosa, inside Mayfair Mall, will open on Tuesday, March 21.

The popular neighborhood spot will offer the toasty, delicious sandwiches that Milwaukee area residents have come to know and love, such as the signature A Wreck and the Grilled Chicken and Cheddar. Customers can also enjoy hearty salads, a rotating selection of soups, freshly baked cookies and famous hand-dipped milkshakes. The Wauwatosa shop will also feature the new Turkey Fresco sandwich made from all-natural, slow-roasted, hand pulled turkey, topped with roasted red peppers, fresh spinach and basil mayonnaise.

The shop will be led by General Manager Mark Claesges, who has been on the Potbelly team for over ten years. The Wauwatosa location will employ a staff of approximately 25.

“At Potbelly, we like to know our customers’ names and even their favorite sandwiches,” said Claesges. “I’m excited to open the shop in Mayfair Mall, and to serve great food that makes people happy.”

To celebrate the launch of the new location, Claesges invites the neighborhood to a pre-opening Oven Warming event on Monday, March 20 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM and 5 PM to 7 PM. For a $5 cash donation, guests can enjoy a toasty warm sandwich, chips and a fountain beverage. 100% of proceeds will benefit Eisenhower Elementary.

The Wauwatosa shop will be open from 11 AM to 9 PM Mondays through Thursdays and 11 AM to 10 PM on Fridays and Saturdays. Sunday hours will be 11 AM to 7 PM. Delivery service will start opening day and will be available Monday through Friday 10 AM to 2 PM with minimum orders of $25.
