MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A local teacher is the latest victim of porch pirates in the Riverwest neighborhood.
The thief got away with about $25 worth of school supplies.
Elizabeth Carroll is a preschool teacher in Germantown and was expecting a package of school supplies to be delivered this week to her home.
When it wasn't there on the day she expected it, she checked her surveillance camera and saw a man grab her package off her porch and hop in a car and take off.
She says she may make some changes on how she gets packages delivered from now on.
"I think I'm gonna figure out times better, maybe have it delivered to work, but I think I'm still gonna have my stuff delivered here. I don't want to let him dictate or people like that dictate how I deliver my packages," said Elizabeth Carroll.
There is some good news though. Her replacement package of school supplies arrived in time for the start of school next week.
