Police: Taylor guitar worth $3.5K stolen from Brookfield music store

BROOKFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A high-value Taylor acoustic guitar was reportedly stolen from Cream City Music in Brookfield on Wednesday, Nov. 8.

According to Brookfield police, a white male suspect stole the 2023 Taylor 814ce Builder's Edition acoustic guitar, valued at nearly $3,500. The theft, involving the guitar with serial #1212283080, occurred at around 12:55 p.m., according to officials.

The suspect was reportedly seen departing in a black pickup truck with dealer plates.

Brookfield police encourage anyone with information about the suspect or the incident to reach out. Officer Stockland at the City of Brookfield Police Department is the primary contact for this case.
