Police seek suspect accused of shooting at vehicle, causing crash with MCTS bus
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a shots fired incident that led to a crash with a Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) bus Tuesday, March 7.
Officials say it happened around 12:10 p.m. near Hampton and N. Green Bay Avenue.
A suspect in a vehicle reportedly fired shots at another vehicle, striking it, before fleeing the scene.
Police say the driver of the vehicle that was struck -- a 26-year-old Milwaukee man -- swerved and collided with a parked MCTS bus. He left the scene, and later arrived at an area hospital for treatment of non-fatal injuries.
The driver of the bus, a 64-year-old Milwaukee woman, was also taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Milwaukee police continue to seek the unknown suspect.
