Police searching for suspect who stole credit cards from YMCA, may be involved in similar incidents
BEAVER DAM, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Beaver Dam Police Department is asking the public for help in locating a theft suspect.
The suspect stole multiple credit cards from a YMCA, either from the victim's vehicle or locker, and proceeded to use the cards at various retailers.
During the investigation, it was discovered that this suspect is likely involved in similar incidents across Wisconsin and Illinois.
At least 20 agencies across southeast Wisconsin have open investigations involving this type of activity and likely this suspect or suspects.
The losses incurred by victims as a result of this activity is likely upwards of $100,000.
The vehicle used is a dark blue Chrysler minivan and often has stolen or temporary tags or no plates at all.
