Police Search for Hit and Run Driver

A Milwaukee woman is reported to be in critical condition following a hit and run accident at W Greenfield Avenue and S Cesar Chavez Drive around 2 o’clock Wednesday morning.  According to the Milwaukee Police Department, the woman hit as she was crossing the street and the vehicle fled the scene.   According to the Police, the woman had several very serious injuries and after being treated at the scene, was transported by the Milwaukee Fire Department to a local hospital.  The MPD is continuing to search for the suspect vehicle.
