Police respond to Congress School in Milwaukee after threat made on Snapchat

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police are investigating after a social media threat was made at Congress Elementary School located near 53rd and Congress in Milwaukee.

Police sent several squads to the scene and are investigating the threat which a parent tells CBS 58 was made on Snapchat.

Milwaukee Public Schools told CBS 58 that a threat was made and parents were notified. MPS says the threat was unsubstantiated and the school day is continuing as normal. They are working with police during the investigation.
