Police out in full force for St. Patty's weekend

MILWAUKEE -- The City of Milwaukee Police force is stepping up patrols for the St. Patty's Day party weekend.
The Southeast Wisconsin OWI Task Force includes police from different departments to crack down on drunk driving.
The effort is funded through a state grant. Officers will stop, test, and arrest any impaired drivers.
In 2012 233 people were killed in alcohol related crashes. Since the program went into effect in 2007 the number of drunk driving crashes has decreased.
