Police: Missing Fond du Lac man found dead in river

FOND DU LAC, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Fond du Lac police say a missing man was found dead in a river on Friday, June 4.
According to police, the 37-year-old Fond du Lac man had been reported missing the day before. On Friday just before 7 p.m., city police and Fond du Lac Fire/Rescue were called to the Fond du Lac River underneath the 9th Street Bridge for a report of a body found in the river.
His body was removed from the river and he was pronounced dead the scene, officials say.
The preliminary investigation indicates no obvious signs of foul play.
The Fond du Lac County medical Examiner's Office will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
