Police looking for man who jumped from balcony unclothed

MOUNT PLEASANT-- Mount Pleasant police said they responded to a 911 call at an apartment complex on Indian Hills Drive shortly before 5:00 a.m. Saturday.

When officers arrived no one answered the door, but they could hear a woman screaming for help.

The suspect, 25-year-old Gutfolane Osborne of Milwaukee, jumped off the second story balcony unclothed and fled on foot.

He was seen running through yards in a nearby neighborhood.

Police set up a perimeter and searched the area with a K9. An automated message was sent out to residences in the area advising them of the situation.

Osborne was later spotted wearing white t-shirt, grey or blue sweatpants and a blue hat.

He is accused of assaulting the victim and holding her against her will.

He is currently still at large. He is facing pending charges in disorderly conduct, battery, criminal damage to property, false imprisonment and strangulation.

Police said that he is an acquaintance of the victim and doesn't pose a threat to the public.

Anyone with information on this incident or Osborne's whereabouts is asked to call Mount Pleasant Police at 262-665-7939.
