Police: License plates being stolen near Beaver Dam McDonald’s restaurant

BEAVER DAM, Wis. (CBS 58) – The Beaver Dam Police Department is asking anyone with information on stolen license plates to contact the department.

Authorities say on Sunday, several vehicles parked near a McDonald’s restaurant on Park Avenue had their license plates stolen. Police ask anyone else who has had their plates stolen to file a police report.

Authorities say stolen license plates are generally used on other cars during a crime.
