Police investigate two separate non-fatal shootings overnight
Milwaukee Police are investigating two separate non-fatal shootings between Saturday night and Sunday morning, one on the city's north side and one on the city's south side.
The first shooting occurred around 10:25 p.m. Saturday in the 2800 block of N. 37th St. A 23-year-old woman was shot, driven to the 500 block of N. 32nd Street and then transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Police continue to investigate this shooting and look for a suspect.
The second shooting occurred around 5:55 a.m. Sunday in the 2500 block of S. 8th St. A 27-year-old man was shot during an apparent robbery. He was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police continue to seek a suspect in this shooting as well.
