MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a fatal battery incident near 9th St. and Meinecke Ave.
Officials say a 35-year-old woman was taken to a local hospital where she later died from her injuries.
A 56-year-old man was taken into custody and charges are pending by the district attorney's office.
