Milwaukee Police took a suspect into custody related to the robbery and shooting of a West Allis man on W. Juneau Avenue on Wednesday.

According to police, investigators developed a suspect using a phone number connected to the incident.  

The suspect, a 31-year-old Milwaukee man, was taken into custody on April 27 in the 300 block of E. Center Street.

Officers recovered a 9mm pistol the suspect had on him and the suspect confessed to robbing the victim and shooting him.

The victim sustained a serious injury and was transported to a local hospital.
