JOHNSON CREEK, Wis. (WISC) - A car stolen in Sun Prairie was involved in a chase on Interstate 94 that ended when the vehicle crashed into a shed at Johnson Creek High School, according to Wisconsin State Patrol.

Officials said a trooper was attempting a traffic stop on westbound I-94 when vehicle exited onto Highway 26, into the Johnson Creek High School parking lot and crashed into an outbuilding.

The high school was put on a soft lockdown as a precaution, which meant students could move around the school but were not allowed to leave the building.

Police are looking for the driver who fled on foot.
