Police arrest man in Arkansas in connection to Racine homicide
Cross County Sheriff\'s Office RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Racine police say a suspect was arrested Wednesday, Dec. 17, in connection to the July homicide of 37-year-old Chala Davis-Bell.
Twenty-two-year-old Lance Moore Jr. was taken into custody in Arkansas by members of the U.S. Marshals Service, Arkansas state police, and the Wynne Police Department.
Officials say Moore Jr. was arrested without incident and booked into the Cross County Jail on charges of reckless homicide, recklessly endangering safety, and possession of a machine gun. He is currently awaiting extradition to Wisconsin.
Chala Davis-Bell was killed by a stray bullet near 11th and Washington Avenue this past summer.
Friends of the victim say she was a mother who drove for a school bus company in Milwaukee.
