Police: 31-year-old Milwaukee man shot near 39th and Congress

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) --- Milwaukee police say a 31-year-old Milwaukee man as shot near 39th and Congress on Wednesday, May 19.
Police say the shooting happened at 7:35 a.m.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for life-threatening injuries and is in stable condition.
The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation.
