Police: 14-year-old driving stolen vehicle fatally shot in West Milwaukee
WEST MILWAUKEE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- West Milwaukee police are investigating after a 14-year-old boy was fatally shot Wednesday, Jan. 12.
Police said it happened near 39th and National.
According to police, the 14-year-old from West Milwaukee was believed to be driving a stolen vehicle when he was confronted by a suspect(s) in another vehicle.
Authorities said a confrontation started and ended with both the teen and suspect(s) outside their vehicles. The teen was found shot in the alley. He was taken to Froedtert Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
A motive is unknown. Police said the owner of the stolen vehicle was not involved in the shooting.
West Milwaukee police continue to investigate. Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
