NOW: Polar Vortex triggers drop in gas prices

(CBS 58) -- The Polar Vortex which sent chills across the U.S. had one upside: lower gas prices. 

Analysts say sub-zero temperatures dented demand, triggering the drop in prices. 

According to AAA, the nation's average for regular gasoline edged closer to $2.25 on Monday. In Milwaukee, drivers will pay an average of $2.09.
