WASHINGTON COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Washington County man charged with trying to kill his young neighbor is expected to plead "not guilty by reason of insanity."
Back in August, Richfield Police say Brian Olson hit his teenage neighbor in the head with a hammer then took off. Deputies found him two days later and say he wanted them to shoot him.
According to court records, a doctor supports the plea and neither Olson nor the state contested it.
A hearing is scheduled for January 11th.
