AT THE MOMENT: The Brewers are in the second wild-card spot with an 87-70 record. Washington sits at 88-69. The Cubs and Mets are five games behind the Brewers and will be eliminated the next time they lose or Milwaukee wins. The Diamondbacks and Phillies have been eliminated.
IF THE SEASON ENDED TODAY: The Brewers would play the Nationals in Washington in the NL Wild Card game Tuesday, October 1st at Nationals Park in Washington, DC.
