Pedestrian struck in crosswalk, seriously injured near 76th and Bluemound

CBS 58 MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A pedestrian was seriously hurt after being struck by a vehicle near 76th and Bluemound Monday, Aug. 25.
It happened just after 9:15 a.m.
Police say an investigation revealed a driver attempted to make a left turn in front of another vehicle failed to yield the right-of-way and struck them. The vehicle that was struck them subsequently struck a person in the crosswalk.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
An investigation is ongoing.
