Pedestrian hit and killed by vehicle while walking on I-94 in Jefferson County

A person who was walking on I-94 was hit and killed by a vehicle Saturday night in Jefferson County.
The Wisconsin State Patrol said that accident happened shortly before 11:30 p.m. on 94 East at Willow Glen Road near the village of Sullivan.
Authorities arrived and performed life saving measures, but were unable to revive the restrained who was pronounced dead on scene.
The car that struck the person remained on scene. Four people in that vehicle suffered minor injuries.
The interstate was shut down for several hours while the incident was investigated.
