PAW Society launches for animal-loving professionals

On April 22, the Wisconsin Humane Society officially launched the PAW Society, at The Garden MKE, SURG's newest private event space. Guests enjoyed drinks, hors d'oeuvres, networking, and mingled with several four-legged friends, all while learning about what PAW had to offer

.

The Next Generation of Professionals for Animal Welfare (or just PAW, for short) is for people 45ish and under who want to get involved in their community, support a good cause, and meet young leaders to grow personally and professionally. Members get to attend social and networking events throughout the year, discounts in the WHS Animal Antics store, educational and professional development opportunities, networking with other members and the WHS Board of Directors, access to exclusive merchandise, and -of course- plenty of visits from adorable animals.

Membership is just $21 a month - less than the average trip out to dinner - and  dues directly support the animals at the Wisconsin Humane Society. PAW has a great list of events planned for the summer, including Yappy Hour at Horny Goat Hideaway (details below) so for more information about joining PAW, visit www.wihumane.org/paw.
