Pastors help build Habitat for Humanity homes

Local pastors are helping to build two new homes are in Milwaukee's Washington Park.

The group is working with Habitat for Humanity for their Thrivent Builds partnership. It brings together several denominations and communities across greater Milwaukee to provide safe, affordable, housing for families in need.

"It's a great contribution to the family and to the community and you know that it's all about neighborhood building as well," says Pastor Dee Anderson with West Grandville Presbyterian Church.

The build was sponsored by Thrivent Financial. The company has supported more than 50 home builds in greater Milwaukee.
