MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Travelers arriving in Milwaukee were lucky enough to beat the storm before it forced planes to be grounded.
One family visiting Disney World described a tense moment at the airport.
"We were ready to board and they said we might not be able to board because the storm's coming and we were waiting, and as we were waiting to get on people from the Red Cross were getting off to come help," said one passenger.
Hundreds of flights have been cancelled due to Hurricane Michael.
