Packers place Seneca Wallace on IR

GREEN BAY - The Packers quarterback carousel continued Tuesday as the team placed Seneca Wallace on injured reserve, ending his season.

Wallace started last Sunday's game against the Eagles, but injured his groin at the end of the first offensive series.

Scott Tolzien has already been named the starter for this Sunday's game in New York, and the team has signed Matt Flynn. John Skelton, a former Cardinals quarterback who threw for more than 300 yards in a game at Lambeau Field last season, also reportedly worked out for the Packers as a possible third option at quarterback.

Aaron Rodgers says he's working to get back to the field as soon as possible for the 5-4 Packers.
