Packers Jordy Nelson suffers Knee Injury, Reports say Torn ACL

Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson went up for a catch in Sunday afternoon's Packers Steelers preseason game and came down immediately to his knees. Nelson got up quickly and hobbled off the field.

The Packers confirm Nelson has a knee injury, but will not speculate on the extent of that injury until Nelson is evaluated Monday in Green Bay.

After the game, Coach McCarthy said, "Jordy is a key member on and off field. We're looking for good news tomorrow."

Ian Rapoport of NFL.com is reporting the initial diagnoses from doctors is a torn ACL.

An ACL injury would likely mean serious time off the field and Nelson could possibly miss the entire upcoming season.

T.J. Lang and Scott Tolzien were also injured in Sunday's game and are both being evaluated for concussion symptoms.

In 2014, Nelson had 98 receptions for 1,519 yards with 13 touchdowns for the Green Bay Packers.
