CEDARBURG, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The owner of the August Weber House in Cedarburg has now been arrested after allegedly drugging a customer.

Jacob Banas, 38, is charged with Administering a Dangerous/Stupefying Drug.

According to the criminal complaint, an Ozaukee County resident reported to police that she believed she was slipped some type of drug while dining at the August Weber Haus Restaurant in Cedarburg back in April of 2014.

The woman told police that she was out with her friend when Banas sat down with them, asked them what they were drinking, and later returned with three shots for them to drink. The woman then allegedly noticed something brown in the shot glass. She told police she thought it was liquor so she drink it.

According to the criminal complaint, the woman said she experienced something that she's never felt before. She also said that she could not recall the moment she consumed the shot through the rest of the evening. 

When the woman made it back to her house, her husband reported that she laid down on the floor and was totally limp. The husband said he asked his wife questions and she wasn't able to respond and "acted spacey, disoriented, and confused."

The woman also complained that her ears were ringing and they they hurt.

A strand of the victim's hair was sent to the FBI Crime laboratories and was tested for evidence.

According to the criminal complaint, a sufficient amount of doxylamine corresponding to an exposure in April 2014 to incapacitate an adult when combined with alcohol was found.

 A local emergency medicine physician confirmed to police that doxylamine is used to incapacitate a victim by putting it in an adulterated alcoholic drink.
