MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A special treat for young and up and coming figure skaters.
Bronze medalist and two-time Olympian Jason Brown is at the Pettit National Ice Center for the 2025 Skate Milwaukee and U.S. Junior Cup of Skating.
This competition getting the athletes ready for a bigger stage. Maybe even the Olympics someday.
"This is like that starting point where they start to kind of get a taste of what it feels like to have that goal on the line," Jason Brown says. "And everything's riding on that to hopefully you know showcase what they can do. And qualify in one of those spots so it's really exciting that way. I think that's it's awesome that it's in Milwaukee."
