Over 40 Targeted in Gang Roundup in Racine and Kenosha
In a tweet Thursday morning, the FBI's Milwaukee officer confirmed that the FBI and their partners were currently engaged in significant gang enforcement operations in Racine and Kenosha.
The FBI also said that there is no danger to the public.
It is a multi-agency operation in Racine, Kenosha and Northern Illinois. 40 to 50 targeted individuals and locations are being raided.
The operation was spearheaded by the Gang Taskforce of Racine which investigates violent gang activities. This is a widespread operation with some raids still taking place as of 8:00 AM.
The task force includes the FBI, DEA, US Marshalls Office, Racine PD and Kenosha PD.
The targeted individuals are involved in drug trafficking including methamphetamine cocaine and marijuana.
