Oshkosh prostitution ring busted, 7 from Milwaukee arrested

OSHKOSH, Wis. - An undercover prostitution sting leads to the arrest of 20 people in Oshkosh.

And one of the women arrested had a three-month-old baby with her.

Oshkosh police say six women and one man were arrested on prostitution charges and all were from Milwaukee. The three-day investigation led to these arrests.

The other 13 people were all men from northeast Wisconsin who were arrested on charges of solicitation of sex.

Those men were from Oshkosh, Appleton, Kaukauna, Neenah, Milwaukee and other locations.

Arrests were also made for weapons and drugs.

Sergeant Todd Wrage with the Oshkosh Police Department says, "We have these investigations periodically through the year as information comes to use about human trafficking, prostitution, solicitation, all these things. Our vice and narcotics units target those types of activities and conduct investigations through the year to target again those violations."

Oshkosh police plan to conduct more investigations such as these in the future.
