Oriental Theatre to reopen August 10

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – The Oriental Theatre will re-open its doors August 10.

The theatre is currently undergoing renovation work as the Milwaukee Film Festival takes over the lease. The $10 million renovation project will add a full women's restroom to the first floor and upgrade sound and projection equipment.

During the reopening week, Spike Lee’s new film "BlacKkKlansman" and the new documentary "McQueen" will be screened.

More information on film schedule and other events is expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
