One taken to hospital after apartment fire in Waukesha

WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- One person was taken to the hospital after a Tuesday night fire on August 29 in Waukesha. The Waukesha Fire and Police Departments were dispatched to the fire around 11:30 p.m. at an apartment located at 2401 Springdale Road.

When firefighters arrived they found a medium sized room and contents on fire in one apartment. The fire was quickly extinguished and confined to the apartment.

Damage is estimated over $20,000. The cause remains under investigation.
