One person injured in HWY 100 crash

A woman was seriously injured when the car she was driving collided with a UPS truck early this morning in the City of West Allis.   According to the West Allis Police, the accident happened around 3:50 AM at the corner of S 108th Street and W Hayes Avenue.    The preliminary investigation found that the car was northbound on 108th when it collided with the truck which was turning eastbound onto Hayes.   According to the Police, the woman was seriously injured and taken to a local hospital for treatment.  The driver of the UPS truck was not hurt.   Traffic on HWY 100 was blocked in one direction for several hours Saturday morning as Police investigated the crash.

The woman was cited for OWI as Police believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
