One killed in Dodge Co crash Monday after running stop sign

ASHIPPUN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- One person was killed in crash Monday, June 21, after failing to stop at a stop sign.

The Dodge County Sheriff's Office identified the woman as 45-year-old Kathryn M. Christopherson

of Juneau.

It happened near STH 67 and Town Road MM around 12:40 p.m.

Christopherson was pronounced dead at the scene.

She was driving a pick-up truck and was hit by a semi-tractor trailer unit

The other vehicle was occupied by a 21-year-old male and 22-year-old male, both from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

Both vehicles ended up in a ditch, and a power pole with live wires fell on top of them.

The Dodge County Sheriff's Office is investigating other factors that may have contributed to the crash, including possible inattentive driving and seatbelt use.

Multiple agencies assisted with the crash.
