One Dead, One in Serious Condition after Saturday Night Shootings

Milwaukee Police are investigating a homicide that occurred Saturday, September 5th at 8:05 PM in the 2100 Block of N. 38th Street on. The 24-year-old male victim from Milwaukee had been gambling with a group of individuals in an alley when an argument broke out.

During this argument one subject shot the victim who suffered a fatal gunshot wound and died at the scene.

Police believe the victim and the subject knew each other.

Milwaukee Police are also investigating a shooting that occurred Saturday at 7:53 PM in the 2400 Block of W. Burleigh. The 20-year-old victim from Milwaukee stated that he was driving in the area when he noticed an individual shouting at him and then began to shoot.

After being shot the victim drove from the area and notified police.

He was transferred to a local hospital for treatment of a serious wound.

Both shootings are under investigation by Milwaukee Police.
